Get down with some true blues on Thursday the 5th December 2013… B.B. King is coming to California! The legendary blues singer and guitarist will be at the San Manuel Amphitheatre to tear the house down from 7:30pm!
Riley B King, AKA B.B.King is still in the spotlight and throwing out the real blues sound at 88years of age. The star has been in the spotlight since 1949 and knows how to give a show! B.B. King was originally from Mississippi and has been known to influence huge names suh as Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer and Bob Marley. He first picked up an electric guitar after seeing T-Bone Walker and has since then been marked in the top ten guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine. In 1987, B.B.King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is widely known as ‘The King of the Blues’. He has won fifteen Grammy Awards to date and continues to take to the stage for around 100 concerts a year. Some of his biggest tracks include ‘Three O’Clock Blues’ (released in 1951) and ‘You Don’t Know Me’ (released in 1952).
